A clean and open Internet. All citizens and organisations are welcome to contribute to this consultation. Contributions are particularly sought from hosting service providers, organisations that notify illegal content and civil rights organisations. Objective:
• Contribute to developing legal certainty, trust and therefore growth in (cross-border) online services, thus enhancing the functioning of the Digital Single Market.
• Contribute to combating illegality on the internet.
• Ensure the transparency, effectiveness, proportionality and fundamental rights compliance of notice-and-action procedures.
Period: • From 04.06.2012 to 05.09.2012. Received contributions will be published on the Internet. It is important to read the specific privacy statement attached to this consultation for information on how your personal data and contribution will be dealt with.
