De actiegroep 'Zo kan het ook’ verspreidde de nepkrant maandag in een oplage van 175.000, onder meer door deze uit te delen op NS-stations en universiteiten. Franse BREIN vergelijkt three strikes met doodstraf. De Franse copyrightorganisatie Hadopi verzet zich hevig tegen de aangekondigde bezuinigingsmaatregel op de auteursrechtenclub en vergelijkt en passant de three strikes-wet met de doodstraf.
