About
Ruben specializes in intellectual property law with a focus on patents and technology-related matters.
He has experience in complex (multi-jurisdictional) patent litigation, advising on corporate IP issues such as IP aspects of M&A deals, and drafting / negotiating various types of agreements including license agreements, R&D agreements and agreements relating to the transfer of IP rights and know-how.
In addition to qualifying as a lawyer (LL.B. and LL.M.), he holds a Bachelor's (B.Sc.) and a Master’s (M.Sc.) degree in Electrical Engineering from Delft University of Technology. Ruben specialised in Electrical Power Engineering, particularly diagnostics of high-voltage equipment.
